Beth Ann Photography is the photographic work of Amy Heinen, a Chicago based nature and wildlife photographer.
When I was mulling on what to call my photography site many years ago, I kept coming back to the idea using the nickname my parents always used for me at home as a way to tie back to where my love of photographing the world around me started.
I've tried many types of photography and enjoy dabbling in many of them, but my main passion is photographing animals and our natural world. I mostly photograph wildlife and horses but there is still the occasional family pet thrown in either my own or those of friends and family.
I love trying creative things and experimenting with new techniques or types of photography. I mainly shoot with a Nikon D5 and a Nikon D850 these days along with my iPhone but I have a varied collection of cameras from GoPro, to film, to point-and-shoots.
I hope you enjoy my work.
